Job Description:
By supporting the CEO and Director, Projects you will have an array of responsibilities, ranging from growing our client base and expanding our corporate outreach to assisting in the many events we host each month. We are looking to have an intern start date by: January 19th. Since STEMconnector®'s founding just three short years ago, we have grown to support 130+ members ranging from Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, non-profits, and higher education institutes.
Responsibilities:
· Corporate Research on educational outreach and internal learning programs
· Contributing to development of STEMconnector® events like our interactive webinars, sponsor meetings, and others events
· Development of sales and marketing materials
· Content management and updates of STEMconnector® website and CRM database
· Outreach to clients via phone and email for various assignments
· General administrative support
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or graduate students majoring in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and related studies.
- Interest in workforce and education issues relating to STEM.
- Demonstrated research and writing ability, plus excellent communications skills, as you will be interacting with clients on a daily basis
- Professional demeanor and ability to work in a team environment
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- CRM database knowledge (Salesforce.com) is preferred but not required
Compensation and Hours:
· Minimum of 30 hours per week – Flexible with scheduling but hours must fall within 8:30-6:00, hours will be set upon start date
· Monthly transportation stipend of $200 and bonus potential based on performance upon completion of internship
