Campaign in Virginia looking to hire a Finance Director to start immediately.
Position description:
- Write and implement fundraising plan (goal: $1 million)
- Manage and carry out fundraising calendar
- Establish and achieve quarterly, monthly and weekly fundraising goals
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events
- Draft fundraising literature (emails, invitations, etc.)
- Supervise tracking system of contributions and deposits
- Work with Campaign Treasurer to ensure compliance with state filing and disclosure laws
- Work with Advisory Fundraising Committee
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualified candidates will have strong organization, communication, interpersonal and research skills. Previous experience in finance and working directly with candidates is preferred.
