Competitive Midwest Senate campaign is seeking a Digital Director for the 2016 election. The Digital Director will be responsible for developing and leading an aggressive online program aimed at supporting a highly competitive U.S. Senate candidate. The Digital Director will work in collaboration with other department directors and consultants and will report directly to the Campaign Manager. This is a senior level position and is a great opportunity for qualified candidates to create and implement a digital program.

· Plan Development: Create an integrated digital plan for the campaign that focuses on incorporating digital into all departments and creating clear measurements for success.
· Email: Develop email strategy for in-state field engagement; coordinate with digital firm on fundraising emails; write & send campaign emails; and analyze results of each send.
· Social Media: Plan and implement the campaign's social media presence, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, and other online tools.
· Content Creation: Create written and multimedia content to drive engagement on the website and over social media.
· General: Supporting the campaign's growing digital operations, and finance/field/communications teams, as necessary.
· Reporting: Produce digestible reports of online metrics on an ongoing basis.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
· At least 2 campaign cycles of digital experience or comparable work experience
· Strong writing and creative thinking skills
· Experience with CRMs and CMSs -- preferably BSDTools, NGPVAN, and WordPress
· Previous background in a fast paced metrics driven work environment
· The ability to work independently and in team settings
· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
· Strong graphic design and video editing skills required.
