Top targeted Mid-Atlantic Democratic Congressional Campaign seeks a driven, organized and creative individual to manage and execute online fundraising program and campaign's digital footprint. The role is malleable and the ideal candidate would be able to serve in a greater communications capacity and would be willing and able to morph into the role of a Press Secretary over time.
The applicant should have a strong ability to write copy, a deep familiarity with data and metrics as well an ability to work with other campaign departments to ensure the campaign's communications compliments other campaign activities.
Responsibilities:
· Implement email fundraising plan including drafting copy, A/B testing, tracking performance and empirical evaluation of results.
· Manage list-growth
· Take ownership of campaign content calendar
· Develop and execute integrated social media strategy
· Create content and update the website
· Be a pro-active team player who helps other campaign departments as needed
Qualifications:
· Experience with Blue State Digital (or similar program), ActBlue, NGP VAN, and web design.
· Experience or ability to write copy.
· Working knowledge of HMTL, CSS, as well as graphic design a big plus.
· At least 1 cycle of campaign experience.
· BA/BS or relevant experience.
· Be willing to work long hours as well as frequent nights and weekends
