Democracy for America, a national progressive organization founded by Gov. Howard Dean with more than one million members nationwide, is looking for a Communications Intern. Ideally the intern will stay on for the rest of the cycle, through the 2016 election.
-- Communications interns help with research, writing, editing, media tracking, pitching the media and a variety of other tasks that are necessary to keep DFA in the news and relevant in this 24/7 news cycle. Using a variety of outlets -- including Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, and Reddit, interns help spread the word about DFA to world.
In this fast-paced world, you'll never be bored, you'll be able to watch TV for work, and must pay close attention to detail and value the AP style guide.
