Job Title: Campaign Manager
Position Location: Tucson, Arizona
Dr. Matt Heinz for Congress is looking for a Campaign Manager in what is one of Arizona's most watched elections for 2016!
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Overseeing all campaign operations
- Supervise and coordinate with legal, bookkeeping, and compliance staff and consultants to ensure compliance with all applicable campaign finance laws and regulations
- Day to day operation of the campaign
- Planning and executing the campaign plan, including press, fundraising, and field operations
- Drafting and implementing the campaign budget
- Scheduling the candidate and keeping the candidate on-track as it pertains to the goals of the campaign serving as the liaison between the campaign and other organizations
Job Requirements:
- Campaign experience
- Comfort with the implementation of a range of organizing strategies and tactics
- Experience building broad-based coalitions and working with grassroots organizations
- Dedication and ability to work flexible hours
- Managing the campaign staff and volunteers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Superb time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Writing and implementing comprehensive campaign, communication, finance, and field plans
- Familiarity with political data, latest technologies, and best practices.
- The ability to build and motivate a team
- Sense of humor
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred but not required
