Digital Media Coordinator position in the DFL Caucus of the Minnesota House of Representatives.

 

Responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating comprehensive digital media services for members of the House DFL caucus and House DFL leadership, including use of social media, graphic design, video, and other web-based media. Self-starter and ability to work in a collaborative environment required. There will be occasional travel with this position.

 

Ideal candidate will have strong written, verbal and technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in graphic design and video editing, ability to juggle multiple tasks and meet various deadlines under pressure, and professional experience in government or political advocacy.  

 

Knowledge of computer based layout and design programs (Adobe InDesign CS and Photoshop) and experience with video editing software including Final Cut Pro is required, familiarity and experience managing social media platforms is strongly preferred.  

 

Salary range $1,924.81- $2,347.55 semi-monthly, commensurate with experience.  Excellent benefits.
