NextGen Climate is currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Field Director to join our team in Iowa through the 2016 General Election. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a statewide field program at either the Field Director or Deputy Field Director level and be able to relocate to Iowa immediately.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and execute a comprehensive field program that encompasses volunteer, paid and campus efforts
Direct and manage statewide field operation with multiple staff and offices
Responsible for drafting and implementing plans for organization building, outreach, voter contact and events
Develop necessary supporting trainings and materials for success of field program
Coordinate and integrate field efforts across departments
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have at least one previous cycle in a statewide field management position
Ability to work with campaign data and paid programs
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent organizational and communication skills
The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines
Driven with a strong work ethic
Act with high integrity and character
Ability to travel and work flexible hours
