Competitive CA Bay Area Assembly Campaign seeks Field Organizers
A highly competitive state legislative race in the Bay Area is looking to hire full-time field organizers for the campaign. Field Organizers will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to expand volunteer networks. Field Organizers will manage and execute voter contact tactics such as phone banks, canvasses, voter registration drives, and visibility events. Field Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, and enthusiastic.
Responsibilities:
Recruit and train volunteers; identify supporters
Meet weekly and long term organization building and voter contact goals
Develop and maintain relationships with supporters
Keep an up to date account of progress by reporting and entering data on time
Applicants must:
Have a passion for organizing and voter engagement
Possess excellent personal, verbal and written communication skills
Be able to successfully coach and manage volunteers
Be able to work in a high-pressure setting and willing to work long hours, including nights and weekends
Have experience meeting goals and the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously
Be willing to travel within assigned turf and possess a driver's license and vehicle
Be competent with Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheets
Own a laptop computer
