The North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party seeks an experienced campaign professional to serve as Field Director. We are looking for applicants to manage the field and GOTV operations to elect Democrats at the legislative and statewide levels. The field director will oversee multiple regional field directors and field organizers to lead us to victory in November.

POSITION TITLE: Field Director
LOCATION: Fargo, ND
DESCRIPTION: The Field Director must be able to adapt to diverse situations and demands while keeping a positive attitude at all times, and must be personable and welcoming to volunteers, elected officials, candidates, donors, partners, prospects, and the press. This person must be able to develop electoral strategies, execute plans, communicate with activists and district party leaders, inspire volunteers, manage teams, and build diverse coalitions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in development and implement a statewide coordinated campaign
- Develop and refine voter contact goals for state legislative campaigns;
- Offer field support and field training to legislative candidates throughout their campaigns;
- Provide support and training to district party officers and activists;
- Foster volunteer training efforts;
- Work with candidates to identify geographic and voter-specific targets;
- Assess the state of voter file data and make recommendations for improvements;
- Develop volunteer mobilization and voter contact reporting tools;
- Other responsibilities as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience recruiting, hiring, training, and managing field staff and volunteers
- Experience constructing and executing training programs
- Experience targeting and creating persuasion and GOTV universes based on modeling
- Proficiency with VAN, Microsoft Office, and Google Docs
- Strong communications and organizational skills, ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, travel, and work long and irregular hours
- Deadline-driven and results-driven
