SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER JOB SUMMARY

Wildfire Contact, a progressive direct voter contact firm, located in Washington,
DC and Des Moines, IA, is seeking a senior graphic designer to join our growing team
of political professionals which provide direct mail, analytics, design, paid phone and
field organizing services to a broad range of clients nationwide.
POSITION DETAILS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
As an Iowa-based Senior Graphic Designer with Wildfire Contact, you will be
responsible for working directly with the Creative Services and Art Directors to
ensure strategic direct mail plans are designed, edited, approved and sent to print
on deadline. Your day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Work with our creative director to concept and implement direct mail campaigns.
• Establishing brand for individual campaigns
• General editing and production on tight timelines
• Quality control and preflight final jobs to send to printers
• Branding and logo design
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5+ years professional graphic design experience in a fast-paced environment
• Expertise working in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Ability to work well under pressure and proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and quick learner along with
creative thinking
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
• Ability to create high volumes of original designs based on creative memos from
client service staff
• Have strong visual skills with careful attention to detail and attentiveness
to different project goals
• Ability to prioritize and manage work to adhere to critical project timelines
in a fast-paced environment
• Effectively communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale
