A Democratic campaign for statewide office in Ohio is searching for a Regional Finance Director to be based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This person will be in charge of all finance responsibilities for Cincinnati, Dayton, and all of Southern Ohio. The Regional Finance Director will work closely with the Finance Director, campaign team, and the candidate.
This position will be part of an exciting and dynamic team. The responsibilities include planning and executing events, cultivating relationships with and soliciting support from major donors, building grassroots fundraising support, donor prospecting and research, and all other aspects of a regional fundraising operation. Interested candidates should be able to create and implement a fundraising plan for this region.
Ideal candidates should have at least one cycle of fundraising experience, including a knowledge of NGP, Microsoft Office, and experience with fundraising events. Salary commensurate with experience. Applicants of diverse backgrounds are welcomed and encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
· A minimum of one cycle fundraising experience.
· The ability to work and think proactively without direction.
· Responsiveness, exacting attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
· A competitive nature and fierce work ethic.
· Mature communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
· Proven ability to work with diverse communities, party leaders, and labor.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NGP VAN.
