Description:
The JB for Governor campaign is seeking a Deputy GOTV Director to join a statewide program in Illinois. The Deputy GOTV Director will report directly to the GOTV Director and will be essential in interdepartmental coordination and implementing a successful GOTV effort. The Deputy GOTV Director will work with other Organizing Department leaders to understand logistical needs, and will be responsible for supporting the work of the Organizing team and assisting the GOTV Director in managing Get-Out-the-Vote efforts.
Primary Responsibilities:
Coordinate across departments to support the Organizing team in their work
Develop, implement and streamline systems and structures
Assist in program implementation and oversee political support of Organizing team
Coordinate with departments on the behalf of assigned region to ensure Organizing team has necessary support
Search for and secure staging locations, and ensure locations have necessary materials and supplies
Assist with implementation of GOTV program
Create support for each Super Region to ensure coordination at every level with each department
Qualifications:
At least two cycles of experience, including at least one cycle of experience on an Organizing team
High attention to detail
Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and clear deadlines
Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
Proficiency with Google Suite
Ability to work long, irregular hours in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment
Ability to work independently and in team settings
Compensation:
Salary for this position is commensurate with experience and skills.
