Carolyn Bourdeaux campaign in Ga-07 seeks full-time Campaign Fellows for its political training leadership program. The Campaign Fellow program is an intense 4-month program designed for college students and recent college grads. College credit is available. Fellows will experience all aspects of the environment of a political campaign seeing first hand what it takes to build a winning strategy from the ground up. Housing and a small stipend are provided.
Carolyn has spent her entire career helping people through smart, fiscally responsible and compassionate public policy. Carolyn is a Professor at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and the founding director of Georgia State's Center for State and Local Finance, she is an expert in tax policy, budgeting and economic development. From 2007 to 2010, she served as director of the Georgia Senate Budget and Evaluation Office where she worked with legislators from both parties to bring fiscal stability to the state's budget during the Great Recession. She has also worked as a legislative assistant to multiple members of Congress, most notably Representative and then Senator Ron Wyden.
