Position: Campaigns Coordinator
Reports to: Deputy Executive Director
About the DCCC: The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U.S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC's Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working campaign professionals who are committed to electing more Democrats and taking back the House majority.
Position Summary: The Campaigns Coordinator will assist with DCCC political, candidate fundraising, analytics, polling, and field departments supporting targeted congressional campaigns.
Responsibilities Include:
- Day-to-day tracking of campaigns including DCCC Frontline and Red to Blue races;
- Oversee the circulation of memos, editing and contributing to content where necessary;
- Support Campaign Director in organizing meetings, staffing events and preparing materials;
- Maintain the integrity of large amounts of critical information;
- Support Deputy Executive Director and department staff with special projects;
- Manage department interns;
- Assist with staff trainings;
- Other duties as needed;
Required Skills:
- A Bachelor's Degree;
- Previous political experience is required;
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at once;
- Superior time management, planning, organizational and communications skills;
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude;
- Dedication to electing Democratic members to the House of Representatives;
