Title: Executive Administrative Assistant

The New York State Executive Chamber is currently seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to work out of the New York offices
Duties:
- Under the supervision of the Director, perform administrative assistant duties of a highly confidential nature
- The candidate will manage and coordinate various activities within the Executive Chamber, and will interact with and support high-level principals within the Administration
- Assist in the management of the day-to-day running of the office
- Answer telephones, tracks messages, and greet visitors
- Maintains liaison with other Executive Chamber staff, State agencies, State officials and legislative personnel
- Maintains appointment calendar
- Schedule meetings and conference calls for staff
- Assists in research and writing of briefings and various reports
- Coordinates travel arrangements and corresponding vouchers
- Opens and computer logs incoming mail
- Organizes, routes and responds to incoming mail
- Organizes and maintains filing system
- Supervises interns / volunteers as assigned
- Performs related duties as required
