Outlaw Dirty Money Amendment (2020)
About Outlaw Dirty Money
We're fighting back against the powers of big money by amending our state constitution to make clear that Arizonans have a right to know who's spending in our elections. We need you to help grow and organize our movement of more than 280,000 supporters and 2,000 volunteers so that Arizonans can vote on this vital amendment in 2020.
Job Overview
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Managing paid staff and volunteers;
- Educating the community about the ODM initiative;
- Recruiting volunteer petition signature gatherers via community engagement;
- Tracking all volunteers and petitions
Job Requirements
You must have:
- At least one cycle of relevant campaign field management experience (regional level or higher)
- Experience training and coaching junior field staff
- Experience setting goals for staff and holding them accountable to those goals
- Hands-on experience with voter contact databases like VAN and NationBuilder
- The ability to troubleshoot and correct technology issues
Experience with petition gathering, coalition management, and proficiency in conversational Spanish are strongly preferred.
Salary/Terms
- Full time-plus. Campaign events will often occur at nights and on weekends. Supervisors will cooperate to ensure that you're working reasonable hours.
- Generous salary, based on experience
- Position will begin as early as February 2019 and run through (at least) July 2020
- Position will report to the ODM Executive Committee
