A top-tier Democratic congressional campaign is seeking an experienced, hard-working Finance Director for the 2020 cycle. The candidate is a top-tier challenger in a nationally targeted district in the West.
REQUIRED:
- Finance experience on a congressional campaign or similar, preferably multiple cycles (this not an entry-level position)
- Ability to work independently and run a finance program with limited supervision
- Familiarity with NGP and Excel/Google Sheets
- Comfort communicating with donors and organizations as well as Members of Congress
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends
- Willingness to relocate to the western U.S.
PREFERRED:
- Background in all aspects of campaign fundraising, including call time, events, email/digital and finance plan management
- Experience working directly and extensively with a candidate or Member
- Experience managing a staff
- Ability to start job immediately
