Finance Director
The Finance Director will report to the Executive Director and work closely with the other Department Directors, Chairwoman, and the Finance Committee to effectively raise, report, and acknowledge the funds that support the party and our electoral programs.
Responsibilities:
- Create a multi-faceted short and long-term fundraising plan for the Party that encourages development of new revenue streams.
- Assist in maintaining the operational and programmatic budgets for the Party.
- Maintain database of previous, current, and prospective donors.
- In consultation with attorneys, assist in compliance operations to appropriately solicit, track, and report campaign finance contributions and expenditures.
- Be a resource for Democratic County Parties, elected officials and candidates on
- fundraising strategy, tactics and reporting.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Strong commitment to electing Democrats at all levels of government.
- Exemplary time management, planning, organization and communications skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
- Capable of working both independently and with other departments in accomplishing goals.
- At least two cycles of campaign finance experience or closely related non-profit development work
- Knowledge of NGP software
