Are you a highly motivated, organized individual who is ready to learn the ropes of digital fundraising and want to help elect more Democrats to public office?
BattleAxe Digital is looking for a writing fellow to join our fast growing team. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills who can manage multiple projects at once, and is happy to pitch in where necessary. Our writing fellows will work directly with our staff writers to create meaningful, engaging content for a variety of both Federal and state level candidates.
In this role, you will help draft emails, ad copy, and client literature. This is a growing firm with lots of opportunity to grow with it.
This is a full time position based in Washington, DC.
You should:
- Take initiative and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Be committed to electing democrats and progressives across the country. Wants to work on the frontlines of progressive politics and electing Democrats
- Desire to learn excellent copy, preferably in a political setting for either a campaign or organization.
- Strong proofreading skills
- A zest for learning and a desire to learn digital fundraising best practices and trends
- Extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Can learn new skills in a fast-paced political setting
It is a bonus if you:
- Have HTML and CSS experience
