To that end, we have launched Rapid Resist, supporting no-budget activists in rural areas, and Contest Every Race, an effort to put a Democrat up against every uncontested Republican seat in the country. We're also currently incubating an effort to recruit and elect climate hawks to utility boards.
THE OPPORTUNITY
You will be responsible for our consulting firm's excellence in texting and operations, as well as our revenue management.
You have led sales teams, ideally in services for political clients. You will be managing and scaling our political consulting work based on our existing book of business, including positioning us for major federal and state 2020 races. In addition you will manage a team responsible for executing these texting programs. You will manage our firm's operations team and support operational excellence across all of our programs, including acting as an in-house consultant to support program leaders in designing business processes. Finally, as new projects are incubated by the firm, you will work with the founder to systematize these into sustainable programs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Senior sales management experience required
Consulting or political consulting or campaign management experience required
Strong organizational skills; detail-oriented with experience putting systems and processes in place
Experience with campaign digital, coms and/or field preferred
Experience with texting programs preferred
Connections to political campaigns, party infrastructure, consultants or movement organizations preferred
Palpable drive and ambition
SF Bay Area or DC preferred, remote possible
COMPENSATION
$65,000-$85,000 base salary depending on experience, with commission based on revenue targets. Strong benefits, paid time off, flexible hours.
