OPERATIONS ASSOCIATE
My Warchest, Inc. is a dynamic software start-up serving political campaigns that was founded by senior campaign operatives. Warchest is a web-based budget and cashflow management platform that addresses the unique issues facing political campaigns' need to spend to zero by election day. It is the industry standard for campaign budgeting and works with top-tier races up and down the ballot, supporting half a billion dollars in campaign finances during the 2018 election cycle.
We are looking to hire an operations associate as one of our first ten employees. The right candidate will have a strong interest in working at the intersection of technology and progressive politics and be excited to play a critical role in a growing company.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Associate will work directly with the Chief Operations Officer and will assist her in various efforts, including:
- Customer support and client maintenance;
- Aiding the team in sales and marketing;
- Helping manage the day-to-day maintenance of the application;
- Brainstorming with the team to devise application upgrades and new features;
- Helping to build out and manage the operations team.
An ideal candidate should have most of the following skills:
- Written and verbal communication skills;
- Working well under pressure;
- Being flexible and adaptable to a growing company;
- Working independently and following current systems and protocols;
- Project management;
- Collaborating with team members on projects, proposals, and presentations;
- A demonstrable interest in supporting progressive social and political issues.
Benefits
$55,000 per year base salary, bonus opportunity, health benefits, and company equity.
