Red to Blue Congressional Race in MN-08 seeking a Field Director, preferably with caucus experience, to start immediately. Job will initially be based out of Brainerd, Minnesota, with an option to move to Duluth later in the cycle. Supporter housing available.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Work with the campaign manager to develop and execute a plan to win the Democratic Nomination
· Work with the DCCC and the campaign manager to develop and execute voter registration, door, and phone goals.
· Create an internship program
· Manage a team of field organizers, volunteers, and interns, as well as a minimum of two field offices.
Qualifications
· VAN knowledge and experience required
· At least one cycle as a field organizer required
· One cycle as a field director for a smaller level race or as a deputy field director on a larger race preferred
· Caucus experience preferred
· Must be willing to relocate to the district
· Must be willingness to work campaign hours, ie up to 7 days a week, including nights and weekends
· Must have a car, laptop, and phone.
