Virginia Victory 2020 – District Petition Organizers
Virginia Victory 2020 is seeking District Petition Organizers for our petition phase starting February 1st, 2020-March 26th, 2020. Organizers will be responsible for collecting petitions within his/her assigned turf in Virginia's congressional districts. Organizers will be the local face for the Virginia Victory campaign. Organizers will report directly to either the Statewide Petition Director or one of the Deputy Organizing Directors.
Responsibilities:

● Identify, train, and recruit volunteers to assist in the petition phase

● Collect petitions through canvass efforts, programs, and events

● Coordinate with local county/city leadership outside of base area to ensure petition gathering at local
community events and Democratic functions

● Provide the Statewide Petition Director with quantitative and qualitative reports on the program's progress

● Perform other duties as needed
Skills and Qualifications:

● Passion for working for and electing Democratic candidates
-
● Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
-
● Ability to work long, irregular hours in a fast paced, metrics driven work environment

● Ability to work independently and in team settings

● A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and an ability to relocate as necessary
