Job Title: Digital Organizer
Reports to: Digital & Field Director
Salary: Depending on experience
Location: Columbia, South Carolina (Remote)


Adair Boroughs for Congress (SC-02) is looking for a Digital Organizer to join our team to grow and scale the impact of our voter outreach program. The Digital Organizer will support the campaign's organizing goals through developing digital content, engaging voters via social media channels, and helping to run our volunteer phone banks and text banks. This position reports to the Digital and Field Director and can be a junior or midlevel position depending on experience. Lots of opportunity to grown in this position and take on new responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Implement our Virtual Organizing plan through robust online engagement of voters and supporters.
  • Amplify the campaign's message through social media channels and digital tools.
  • Recruit new volunteers to help empower them to take action.
  • Effectively develop and execute innovative digital projects to accomplish broader campaign goals.


Qualifications (Required):

  • Experience using various digital tools and social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Hustle, ThruText -- and canvassing tools (NGP VAN, Mobilize America).
  • Relentlessly Goal Oriented - enjoys working toward and achieving ambitious goals.
  • Cultural Competency - able to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, voters, and volunteers across racial and generational lines.
  • Desire to fight for Democratic values.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are a must. Namely, can connect with others, quickly gain trust & motivate volunteers, staff, community members, and coalition partners, including in particular across lines of difference.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
  • Capacity and willingness to work long hours during peak season, rolling up your sleeves and getting the work done.


Desired skills:

  • Experience with creating high-quality content, including graphics, video, digital ads, text messages, and email alerts.
  • Experience managing interns and volunteers.
  • South Carolina connections a plus, but not required.
