About Shape Up The Vote:
Shape Up The Vote is a non-partisan coalition of barbershops helping their communities vote in 2020. Shape Up The Vote provides participating barbers with everything they need to run a non-partisan voter registration and turnout campaign, right from their shop. Voter turnout is highest when it's driven by local voices that people trust, like their barbers. By helping Shape Up the Vote expand its footprint in Pennsylvania, you can help empower barbers to activate their communities and influence the 2020 election.
Responsibilities:
Recruit new barbershops to join Shape Up The Vote
Manage inquiries from participating members
Distribute Shape Up The Vote packages (voter registration forms, voter information cards, posters, etc) to participating members
Track and maintain up-to-date content on voter registration and turnout laws in PA

About The Role:
We are seeking a mission-driven, entrepreneurial individual looking to have an impact on the 2020 election. As our Regional Chair, you will develop relationships with barbers in Pennsylvania and drive our strategy for how Shape Up The Vote engages with barbers in the state, with full support from the national organization.

Compensation:
The Pennsylvania Regional Organizer role will be compensated at $12.50/hour and will start at 20 hours/week.
