The Shanna Danielson for State Senate Campaign is looking for a creative and passionate Field Director! If you're excited by a progressive woman running for office and a challenge that requires you to creatively organize, we encourage you to apply!
The Race: This is a competitive and progressive race in South Central Pennsylvania to flip a 40+ year republican district blue and elect a progressive into office. It's not going to be easy and it will require us to be creative with how we engage and organize voters. Shanna has a coalition of progressive support from SEIU, Working Families Party, and Pennsylvania Stands Up!
Location: York and Cumberland Counties in Pennsylvania.

Field Director Responsibilities
Field Director Qualifications
● This position is ideal for a candidate with at least one cycle of experience on an electoral campaign
● This position can be remote to start with the expectation of relocating to the district

Field Director Responsibilities
- Design and execute a creative field plan that
- engages nearly every voter in the district
- Track and evaluate weekly voter contact efforts and report performance compared to benchmarks
- Recruit and train volunteers to reach voter contact goals
- Interface and collaborate with local, state, and national political organizations that provide volunteers
- Plan and implement organizing events
- Facilitate trainings and build for voter contact events
- Manage a field texting program and dialer service
- Coordinate yard sign requests and delivery
- Complete direct voter contact shifts
- Design and execute a GOTV plan, including for absentee voting
- Strong ability to take feedback and adapt
- Commitment to Democratic and progressive values
- Critical thinking skills
- Self-starter with great time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in setting and achieving strategic and measurable targets
- Creativity and vision to build new programs from scratch
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, especially listening skills and ability to communicate professionally and empathetically, in writing and verbally
- Experience with Votebuilder, Google Suite
- Knowledge and experience in Pennsylvania politics is helpful, but not required
