Integrity First for America is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to holding accountable those who threaten long-standing principles of our democracy, including our country's commitment to civil rights and equal justice. Most notably, IFA is backing the landmark federal lawsuit against the neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and hate groups responsible for the August 2017 violence in Charlottesville. This is an opportunity to be involved with an historic case and work with a high-profile team of lawyers and advocates.
IFA is searching for a Community Engagement Associate to support programming and partnerships, including a series of high-profile virtual events. Reporting to the Senior Director of Community Engagement, this role will have both external and internal facing responsibilities, including project management, communications, and administration.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, organized, systems- thinker who is a self-starter with at least two years of experience in nonprofits, campaigns, events, and/or advocacy.
This candidate will have:
- Strong communications skills;
- Ability to multitask and monitor several projects at all times, and to manage time effectively; and
- Flexibility and excellent attention to detail, especially in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position with some evening and weekend work as needed. While based in New York, IFA is working remotely for the foreseeable future, so we are open to candidates from a variety of geographic locations if they are willing to work on East Coast time.
Salary will be commensurate with experience, between $45,000 and $55,000 per year, plus a generous benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance.
