Campaign Manager responsibilities include:
· Managing the campaign's initial schedule, requests for meetings, events;
· Working with consultants to craft the campaign message;
· Assisting as an on- and off-the-record press point of contact;
· Managing multimillion dollar campaign budget and cash flow;
· Coordinating consultant team;
· Hiring wider campaign staff;
· Staffing candidate at meetings and events; and
· Other responsibilities as necessary.
Campaign Manager Qualifications:
· Minimum of 4 cycles of political experience;
· Minimum of 2 years management experience;
· Budget management experience on a multi-million dollar race;
· Ideal candidate would be familiar with Long Island or New York politics;
· Strong organizational skills;
· Willingness to work long, campaign hours; and
· Strong work ethic with the ability to work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $6000-$8000 per month; commensurate with experience. Must have a car and driver's license.
