What Else Should You Know?

WFP has a broad understanding of the term Celeb. We believe that anyone with a platform should be supported as they organize via that platform. Our inclusive definition reflects WFP's theory of change and leadership development strategy.

To apply, please visit our jobs website.

Who is a Celeb?

At WFP, a Celeb is anyone with a platform who is interested in leveraging that platform to further the strategic goals of WFP. Our definition of Celeb is not limited to individuals with national or international reach. Good organizers think of Celebs as those with strategic platforms, no matter the size. The goals of a campaign should be considered before determining the Celebs to target and cultivate. In local or regional campaigns, the most effective Celeb partnerships will likely be with individuals who may not be very recognizable outside of their home region. These Celebs often have a much deeper relationship with their fans, have fewer gatekeepers, and have more time to dedicate to the campaign.

Location

The position is full time and remotely based anywhere in the United States during the current health crisis. When safe to travel, our preference is for you to be based in New York or Los Angeles.

Salary

The base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 and will be adjusted based on an internal equitable scale that takes into consideration years of experience, geographic location, and final job description. We also offer excellent benefits, paid holidays, vacation and sick time.
