Washington is home to some of the most beautiful and ecologically important wild places while also being on the tip of the spear in the fight to stop climate change. The WA Sierra is hiring a Conservation Organizer to build grassroots power to challenge new fossil fuel infrastructure, build a renewable energy future for WA and to ensure we effectively address climate change.
The Sierra Club is working with partner organizations across the Northwest in building a movement for strong action on climate change. We are looking for someone who is hard-working and energetic, who can work in both urban and rural communities and is willing to travel extensively. We are looking for someone who has experience working with and developing volunteer leaders and who can expand our network of partners to include a diverse set of constituencies.
