The Management Center is expanding our team of part-time and full-time trainers to help teach social justice leaders how to build and run more effective organizations.
We're holding auditions throughout March to find our next brilliant trainers. Please help us spread the word!
Who we're looking for: People who can captivate the room in an engaging training, and who have experience managing high-performing teams. If you've run successful, diverse teams and have the ability to keep people on the edge of their seats in a training, we are looking for you!
The position: We're looking for both full-time and part-time trainers to join our team. Part-time ("adjunct") trainers typically run one two-day training each month, depending on demand, so it's a perfect opportunity for leaders who want to sink their teeth into management trainings on top of their current roles.
How to apply: We'll be holding auditions for trainers throughout March. To apply for an audition, please send either your resume, a link to your LinkedIn bio, or a 10-minute video of you training on a management-related topic to trainingauditions@
Videos can be on any management-related topic of your choice, and can be either a recording of you delivering a real training, or a video you're making for this application. Please know we'll be looking at your training style, and not at the quality of the video itself, so please don't feel you need to spend time polishing your video editing skills.
Once we receive your application, we'll notify you as soon as possible if you're being invited to audition.
We anticipate our audition slots will fill up quickly, so we encourage you to apply soon!
A note on location: Initial auditions will be conducted via live video (such as GoToMeeting). From there, we'll ask the strongest candidates to audition with us in-person in our Washington, D.C. office, so we're limiting this casting call to candidates based in the D.C. area.
However, we are also looking for talented people across the country, and we encourage candidates in other cities to apply through our traditional (but still exciting!) application process here.
