Public Interest Network Training Center Director

Effective activists aren't born, they're trained. As our Training Center Director, you would be the driving force behind training activists and volunteers across the country in organizing and advocacy.  We train hundreds of results-oriented activists every year. We're looking for a Training Center director who can help us perfect our model, promote our training program throughout the larger public interest and progressive communities, and expand the program in the years to come.  We are looking for someone with an exciting vision about how to expand our existing model so that we can activate even more people for the movement.

We have been training people for more than 40 years—and over that time, our trainees have become leaders of Environment America, USPIRG, Fair Share, Greenpeace, Green Corps, MoveOn, the Sierra Club and many other organizations. We currently invest over 200 hours of training per year per staff person—we're looking to deepen the impact of those hours and reach out to even more people, beyond our staff and volunteer base.
