Field Organizer Job Posting
Description:
Democratic Candidate for Governor seeks Field Organizer for 2018 campaign cycle.
The ideal candidate will be committed to affecting change in red states, have experience in running a statewide field program, is goal orientated and skilled at managing a interns, staff, and volunteers.
Responsibilities:
The Field Organizer will be responsible for co-executing the field plan in both the primary and general cycles, which will be written in conjunction with the campaign manager. The Field Organizer's primary responsibility will be to ensure the goals in the field plan are being met. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Develop field and implement field program
· Manage field staff and ensure their goals and benchmarks are being met including volunteer recruitment and retention goals
· Craft scripts, FAQ's and all other field materials under the direction of the Campaign Manager and Field Director.
· Oversee and manage field data
· Attending events across the state with the candidate
· Assist in turnout efforts for campaign events
· Building and maintaining positive relationships with supportive Democrats, progressive organizations and community leaders
· Other duties as needed
Qualifications:
· Experience managing staff or volunteers
· High levels of organization and task management
· Strong verbal and written communications skills
· Proficiency in software programs, CRMs, MS Suite
· Must have a driver's license, reliable transportation, personal laptop and cell phone.
· Ability to spend significant amounts of time on the road and work nights and weekends.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
