The Field Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive field and GOTV plan, as well as recruiting, training, and managing volunteers. The Field Director will manage and execute daily voter contact events such as canvasses and phone banks as well data management. The Field Director should be strong communicators, organized, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work long and irregular hours, including weekends.
Responsibilities:
* Ability to write and implement a comprehensive, data driven field plan
* Build and manage a field leadership team to execute said field plan
* Set, meet and exceed benchmarks for voter contact, volunteer recruitment, grassroots engagement and GOTV
* Design and standardize best practices for data management using the campaign's voter file software
* Recruit, train, and manage volunteers
* Manage and execute daily voter contact events such as canvasses, phone and text banks
* Communicate with other campaigns to maximize field efforts
Field Organizers should be strong communicators, organized, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to work long and irregular hours, including weekends.
Qualifications:
* Previous campaign field experience
* Exceptionally organized with the ability to meet strict deadlines and many demands at once
* Experience managing and training volunteers and/or interns
* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
* Access to a vehicle
* A positive attitude
* Excellent time management skills
* Daily management of accurate data entry (VAN experience preferred)
* Ability to meet daily and weekly volunteer recruitment benchmarks and goals
* Experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office required
*Must have reliable transportation and insurance
*Must provide own laptop
Compensation: Commensurate on Experience
Fort Worth area or willingness to relocate to Fort Worth quickly. Supporter housing available.
