HIRING: Finance Fellow for Congressman Tom Malinowski's (NJ-7) campaign
Tom Malinowski for Congress is seeking a highly-motivated candidate for our DC-based Finance Fellowship. The ideal candidate will have a background in campaign finance, with experience or familiarity with managing call time. The finance fellow will be responsible for the Congressman's DC-based call time and must be comfortable working remotely and from the DCCC's office.
Must be flexible to the constantly changing voting schedule, but have consistent availability on Mondays and Wednesdays to work out of the DCCC's office. Must be based in DC and have a means of transportation to the DCCC's office. This position will be working with and reporting to the Finance Director, who will be based out of New Jersey.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Knowledge of or ability to learn NGP VAN campaign software
• Preferred experience in managing call time
• Ability to work remotely and independently
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Basic administrative skills including filing, data entry, record-keeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Proficient in Google Drive, including Sheets, Docs, and Gmail
This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of approximately 10 hours a week, starting as soon as possible. The position will be based in Washington, DC. Monthly stipend included.
