The Tate for Mayor Campaign seeks passionate individuals to serve as Field Organizers in the upcoming municipal elections in Denver, CO on May 7th. Extension through a runoff on June 5th is possible. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruiting and train volunteers;
Manage part time fellows;
Data entry; recording and reporting results;
Execute campaign plans and effective organizing tactics including traditional grassroots voter contact as well as event planning and turnout;
Support other campaign operations as required;
Meet all data and field reporting deadlines.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience organizing preferred but not required;
Strong work ethic;
Ability to work weekends and irregular hours;
Ability to manage part time paid campaign fellows and volunteers;
Very well organized; excellent communications skills;
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
Ability to thrive in a cooperative, team-oriented work environment;
Prior electoral experience preferred but not required; and
Experience organizing in diverse communities preferred.
SALARY:
Salary is dependent on experience. Range is $2500/$3000 month including benefits.
