BattleAxe Digital is looking for a Writer to join our team. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills who can manage multiple projects at once, and is happy to pitch in where necessary. Our writers work directly with account team to create meaningful content (email fundraising, digital advertising, and social media content) for clients. This position is ideal for applicants with at least 1 year of email fundraising writing experience, although other writing experience may be considered for the right applicant.
In this role, you will help draft emails, ad copy, and client literature. This is a growing firm with lots of opportunity to grow with it.
This is a full time position based in Washington, DC. BattleAxe offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
You should:
- Take initiative and be comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Be committed to electing democrats and progressives across the country. Wants to work on the frontlines of progressive politics and electing Democrats
- At least 1 year of experience writing excellent copy, preferably in a political setting for either a campaign or organization.
- Strong proofreading skills
- Understanding of digital fundraising best practices and trends
- Extremely detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Can learn new skills in a fast-paced political setting

- Have HTML and CSS experience
